Exploding Memories
The sounds of fireworks exploding bring me to recall
a place in history; of which our love was able to heal all.
The medical parade with their systematic inspections
informing us of all their doomed projections.
Through the night your window reflecting sights of fireworks
but it will always be the exploding sounds in my memory which lurks.
That year the world can believe that it celebrated the fourth.
I do believe it was your life's battle sounds that poured forth.
Remember this ... there was a fight;
of which you won the war that night.
Since that time a myriad of acts have transpired.
It was through those exploding sounds, that your life was rewired.
You have the life to hold so dear
brought to you folks from yesteryear!
