Eternity

Hide your soul

Hide your Heart

Keep hidden the holes

That tear you apart

Thats the way it is

Thats a good start

Bittersweet is the kiss

That supplies your sorrowful art

It tears you to pieces

It rips you in half

You start to pray to Jesus

And then you just laugh

At the foolishness

Of your prayer

Because you well know this

That no one is there

And nobody cares

Whether you cry

Or whether you die

You live to serve their needs

And carry out there dirty deeds

Your being used

While your soul is abused

You want to kill

For the thrill

Knowing they'll lock you away

For all the rest of your days

You keep hidden inside your heart

A desire to be seen as you are

When no one else can see

They way you'll always be

When you are alone

And you wish a light could be shone

Into your soul

And into the holes

That you hide so well

That no one can tell

That their even there

You wish they'd atleast pretend to care

But you know that won't be

That no one will ever see

For too well you hide the pain

Always walking under a cloud of rain

No one will know it's there

And no on will care

Because you'll never let them see

You'll hide your anguish for eternity

For always and etenity

I don't know how else to say it but... thanks. I needed to read that.

I gave you a seven, because of your heart. But don't take prayers asnswered or not as anyone there. I don't.

Dark? how about trite and obvious? You have deep angst, you need to prevail upon the senses, not spray some ideological spew - I feel you, though, and I think you want to say more - but you may also like being used. Am I close?

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
