Echoes

Explain just how it happened...
Tell it to me in those strident tones
That once shook my lips,
Shaken once the tones that told me
It happened,
How my strident touch quivered
Through you,
As the echoes had flickered through
The candlelight once-
Once your touch had echoed through
Flickering quivers,
The candlelight,
as through the lips that once,
(In shaken tones,)
Stridently echoed my touch
Through you.

Dr. This is simply alluring in it's style of the juxtaposed words come back to almost haunt the reader yet the passion within welcomes that haunting. ginga

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
