Welcome to this place where all lost souls burn

It says at age 10 you were mean to the cat
When you were 11 you’d hit the dog with a bat
At the age of 12 you stabbed a kid with a pen
Your file is so thick I don't know where to begin

At 13 you stole a car and ran over a man
At 14 beat up someone and didn't give a damn
When you were 15 it says you nearly overdosed
Looks like at that point you became a living ghost

You were committed at 16 to a detention center
Yet your heart stayed colder than the dead of winter
Now let's jump ahead and see what else you’ve done
Seems at 21 you never left your house without a gun

At 22 you finally fired a shot that stole another life
A man with two children and a caring loving wife
You became an actor and the courtroom was your stage
So no one could see through all the colors of your rage

Forged your mask so well that you simply walked away
Then silently you laughed thinking that you didn’t pay
But you didn't feel the noose as it kept growing tighter
Now the story has been told and you're the only writer
