Darkness

Darkness

Fighting through the dark
wishing I could see the light
as my choices make there mark
I still havent made flight

in the endless shadow
I stumble and fall
as I head for what seems like a glow
down this endless hall

it seems it wont go away
no matter how fast I run
and no matter what I say
the darkness has won

another great poem i like your style, the mood is perfect to me and your words are gloomy, yet beautiful.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
