    Daddy

Daddy was never a man with very much to say
Yet through it all, he managed to point the way.
Therefore, there is a path in my life that he helped pave,
With the patience, loyalty and commitment he of himself gave.

His desire was for me to be more than he could see,
This is something I hope I will someday be.

For His loving patience has helped point me to the heavenly Father’s way.
And that is why I give Him thanks and honor each and every day.
