Crack and the White Picket Fence
Sweet frames that held
Times precious
Bubbled and placed in new
Cardboard boxes leaving
Stark naked walls
Stripped of all that truly matters.
Mothers treasures passed
Down from her own and then to me
Lie in yesterdays newspaper
Whose headline should scream
In huge black print
Lives Blown Up.

Stripped of all that truly matters.
Mothers treasures passed

Lie in yesterdays newspaper
Whose headline should scream
In huge black print
Lives Blown Up.
