Conversational Faith
Time and time again I've watched you look at me indifferent because I aint you.I dont talk the way you talk
And walk the way you walk
So you say I'm damned because I ain't you.
I don't dress the way you dress
Park the way you park
Impress the way you impress
So you say I'm damned because I ain't you.
I don't look at people the way you look at them
Take from people the way you take from them
Use people the way you use them
So you say I'm damned because I ain't you.
So many things that you do that I do not do
So you say I'm damned because I ain't you.
I can admit, at times I can get just like you.
Do things that you do and act foolishly just like you
But the difference is, I ask for forgiveness when I act just like you.
I can't behave everyday, all day, out of order, just like you.
It just don't sit right in me when I come to be just like you.
Thank Jesus, I have a merciful God that cares a lot about you.
I know because if He didn't he wouldn't of never put me around you.
He mixed strength and endurance in my soul to be able to bear with you
Did I metion the patience that comes from His Grace, in which He created for you.
When you realize of everything you was doing, I will be there to comfort you.
God made you transparent so I could see right through you
Him in me, to rub off on you.
I have faith in everything He has set for you
I'm going to stand firm, endure in the struggle that He created for you
See, He created me to be that person what will be able to guide you
Craftly and hand picked is exactly how He made me for you
With His outstreched hand and the works through man He made me for you
The facts have been written, I shall not be moved when it comes to you
So do what you want when you stand up againist me
I have compassion for you
I have sacrifice for you
But did you sit and take notice of you?
I just thanK God he has created you
To enter into my life to challenge me in keeping the faith.
To stand my ground and stick in my place.
Prepared me in times when I thought I was all alone.
Pulled me and pushed me when I didnt think He seen me from His throne
Me to believeth in Him whom I can not see
See, He trusted within me to let my heart to guide my feet.
So when you see me doing things out of the ordinary,
Trust and believe, it's me keeping the faith that's going to set me free.
