    Confused By Misplaced Love

    Confusion boils up inside me
Not knowing what to make of anything
I continually ask myself what I'm doing?
My life has been taken and shaken
    Thrown and tossed around
I am beaten, over used and abused
I am tired of feeling this way
    I have mix feelings.
My mind just seem split in two.
Part of me wants on thing
    The other the exact opposite
I no long know what I want exactly
Nor how I want it delivered.
Damn, I hate feeling this way
I hate it with a deep passion
I've had a love for you
    That i can't find anymore
All I hold is just the memories of it all.
I've made it a goal to make you happy
    No matter what
So if you are asking yourself
    What's next?
Then we both going to share this boat ride
    Cause like I said before
    I'm confused
    And it is boiling up
    Well within me.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
