Clueless

Wish I knew,
How the seasons flew,
Delirius,believing illusions,
Hoping they were true!
Wonder how everything changed,
In the blink of an eye,
Emotions, swift and ephemeral,
Hold on to them, I try!
Searching through the darkest recess,
Empty hands, I emerge clueless!
Mind wandering pointless,
Without an evident goal,
Gratuitous objectives to pursue,
Annonyed, abandoned by my soul!
Reckon I could find,
An answer to my quests,
Arcane solace of sorts,
Unseen somewhere,it nests!
Searching through the darkest recess,
Empty hands, I emerge clueless!
Wish I knew,
How the seasons flew,
Delirious,believing illusions,
Hoping they were true!

Wonder how everything changed,
In the blink of an eye,
Emotions, swift and ephemeral,
Hold on to them, I try!

Searching through the darkest recess,
Empty hands, I emerge clueless!

Mind wandering pointless,
Without an evident goal,
Gratuitous objectives to pursue,
Annonyed, abandoned by my soul!

Reckon I could find,
An answer to my quests,
Arcane solace of sorts,
Unseen somewhere,it nests!

Searching through the darkest recess,
Empty hands, I emerge clueless!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
