    Close to Thee
    He give me peace in the middle of a storm

    He comfronts me even though I am right and wrong

    As I approach his throne of grace,
    I remember he will keep me near

    The Bible says to draw neigh to his face

    This is a principle that I will keep close to my heart

    Lord let me not be led astray

    Close to thee is where I want to be
    Cleanse me of all iniquities

    Is my heart pur enough for this pen/paper?

    My Lord says Yes
    Yes to all my pain and shortcomings

    God's frustrations will not me stay away long

    Indeed my iniquities will be cleansed
    Close to thee is where I am going to be
