Christmas Motivation
Christmastime with all the lightsJingle Bells & Silent Nights
Frosted windows, snowy pines
Decorations, North Pole Signs
Endless lineups crowded malls
Frantic moms in search of dolls
Bumper-to-bumper thru the town
Everyone frenzied, no peace to be found
In a manger long ago
No jingle bells, no dolls no snow
A gentle mother meek and mild
Was kissing her newborn baby child
Bittersweet the tears of joy
As she tickled the toes of her baby boy
"A saviour who is Christ? The Lord"
A mighty King to be adored?"
Mary winces at thoughts of a cross
Pain and ridicule , horror and loss
For all the world's sin her child will die
Rise again, and live on high
His love for us will never cease
It can change our hearts and bring us peace
He can make us new, forgive our sin
If only we choose to let him in
When the pressures of Christmas get you down
When you cringe at the thought of going to town
Remember Mary and her baby boy
And let your hearts be filled with joy
