Careless Words
There are many things in this life
that threaten to tear us apart.
Many of which is of our
own making.
So how can we make our
mistakes right
with those we have
wronged?
How do we make them right
with ourselves?
Who we wrong
on a daily basis?
Can we?
Is it possible
to make any mistake
truely right?
There are many
that I have wronged
without meaning to.
There are many I have
wronged, with that
very purpose in my
mind.
And there are those that
have wronged me,
whether on purpose or not.
The truth of the matter is,
people will get hurt,
and people will do stupid things
and say stupid things.
What's important to know,
is what intentions lie behind
those things we do and say.
Is it malicious,
or does it come from the heart?
Or is it an honest mistake?
So many times,
People read to much into
things.
Things that just aren't there,
that were never there,
but that person WANTED
it to be there.
So they saw what they wanted to
see and damn everyone else.
It is in these moments
that people get hurt the most.
Careless thinking,
Careless acts.
Words that are really
only sound waves
created by the lyrnx,
can cause wounds that
sometimes never heal.
And these are the most tragic of all.
For these are wounds you cannot see,
until you catch them in a weak moment,
then you see them bleed,
not drops of blood.
but drops of water,
that are salty to the taste.
It is then that you realize
that words, even those spoken
gently and without animosity,
are like ripples in the water.
Once started
they have far reaching and
unforseen effects.
Like throwing a stone into a river,
it causes ripples and sinks to the
bottom,
forever apart of the river,
making it forever changed,
but no longer visible.
Just because you can't see
a wound,
doesn't mean it's not there.
Or you're not the one that
put it there.
Words are the most powerful
weapon known to man,
words can make or break
a nation,
start a war,
start peace,
inspire love,
inspire hate.
So be careful what you say,
and who you say it to.
Because a meaning other
than what you intend can be taken,
and can cause wounds
that need not be there.
that threaten to tear us apart.
Many of which is of our
own making.
So how can we make our

with those we have

How do we make them right
