BY YOUR SIDE
Now you must be in your deep sleep,,
Face like a baby, fresh as ever, away from the tough realities of life.
Night birds are getting ready to leave your park.
They did the job while looking at your window, singing last song.
It’s about to break dawn, westerly winds bellowing little fast,
Should have fought there way, to enter in your bed room,
To touch your face; to kiss your head.
A bird must have opened its eyes to witness the first sign of light.
As you lay awake in warmness of your blanket,
Slowly opening your eyes adjusting to the morning light,
Stretching your arm, out in the sky,
Tree that stood for so long, must have witnessed, same sign of life.
I stand awake to see all this happening.
Imagining the beauty of all time,
Thinking, feeling, loving you, by your side,
All, but so little of you, I want to fill my life.
