    Breath Of Love

    Breath of Love

    We were born of Love
    Conceived from
The passion and zest of life

    And when our breath fades
When we are called to surrender
    One final time
    We shall then be
    Forever pulled
Back home by the magnetism of Love

    Our separateness shall cease
    Our fear and despair
    Shall exist no longer
    To never again
    Threaten our existence

    Our breath shall become
    The ebb and flow
    Of life itself
    An ecstasy of expression
    Of all that lives
    Of Love

    Then for once
    The elusive peace
    Of this earthly plain
    Shall find its home

    And the answers we seek
    Shall be questions no more
    And the breather
    Shall be the breath
    And the Lover
    Shall become the Love

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
