    borrowed moments

    i hauntingly recall that moment
the two of us making love
beneath the gaze of a radiant moon
and the blanket of starry night

i wish for a second time to standstill
and let us be in each other's arms again
daring the universe to make its move
a love so beautiful is a powerful force

you and i are meant to be
    weave sweet yet painful memories
to be near and yet so far
    to smile beyond our scar

let you and i sing our song
yes, let us take the floor and swiftly dance
let us make eternity in this short span of time
when morning comes, its time to bid goodbye

    I love it. nice work.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
