    Blurred Vision

They are seeing the world through "beer goggle eyes,"
    Where dimentia forms they're reality.

Quick to point a finger that is crooked as can be,
But I see four pointing back, while only one towards me.

Triing to pass judgements on just who we are,,
Thinking that your this and I am that,
When maybe I am this and you are that.

The reality of it all is, there is no reality!
It changes in each set of "beer goggle eyes."

Where Rea;ity is no longer realistic,
    But just another blurred vision.

P.S. This poems message is to invite people to realize that reality is a forever changing state of mind. If you were to look through a clear mug filled with beer, everything would be discolored and distorted, every thing and every motion you make or that happens around you causes a new ripple, distorting what you see. Lifes events can cause the same effect, changing your perception of reality.

A good analogy and a condition that needs to be explored. However, you should work your P.S. in the body of the poem. The best poetry stands alone with little or no explanation.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
