Beyond the Black Sky
Darkness all around me,
searching for any light beyond the black sky.
Understanding nothing, the focus,
to find peace within myself.
The soul, damaged and unclean, forgiveness.
The start of glorious light, I seek and cry.

I know beyond the black sky, unconditional love resides.
Only the true at heart will fly; where does that leave me?
The last to be free, to linger in darkness?
I know what treasures lie beyond the black sky,
endurance and obedience to God,
the ticket to ride, I'm sure.
Once you see the light beyond the black sky,
forever be true to its love.
The blessings will be all you need.
The light of goodness and peace is everlasting.
Fight to see the light and soar,
beyond the black sky.
