    Be Wise and Beware

Beware my friend of things left unseen,
the regions of a deep unconscious thought.
Be Wise my friend unseen regions are for kingdom,
to be king it means not to be caught.

Beware my friend of other people dreams,
the things that they're searching to find.
Be Wise my friend if you're searching for dreamers,
in their world they're as elusive as time.

Beware my friend of the image of a stranger,
their true self is very rarely shown.
Be Wise my friend good advice is not always healthy,
some things are better left alone.

Beware my friend of this world they deal in riddles,
a parable that's not fully told.
Be Wise my friend never compromise with riddles,
nothing bought simply means nothing is sold.

Beware my friend of one-sided friendships,
one side is just half of the tale.
Be Wise my friend your best friend is your worst enemy,
its' your nightmare or your living hell.

Beware my friend of the traps that lay before you,
each one has been strategically placed.
Be Wise my friend with each trap there is a trigger,
     a deceivingly poised poker face.

Beware my friend self deception could be fatal,
like Russian roulette with a knife.
Be Wise my friend all weapons are dangerous,
a creation just made for taking life.

Beware my friend of this poem it holds a message,
our reality we've placed on the shelf.
Be Wise my friend learn the lesson in the message,
but most of all you must beware of yourself.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
