Bad Timing
I seen love the other day and couldnt even acknowledge her presence/ afraid of what her thoughts of me may be/ she was just pushing through her daily routine/ unseen by unappreciative beings/ but i saw her/ shaking her hips in that afrocentric outfit/ not defined by the grip of her fabric/ but by the grip of that afrodesiatic aura/ beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this was love at first sight/ i seen love the other night and purposly avoided a response/ fear cursed me with this nonchalance/ even when i cared/ satisfied with a stare/ love is in the air but im holding my breath/ stumbling over my first step/ making it my last/ quiet as kept but the quiet gets passed on by/ foolish pride who am i to be telling myself these lies/ you decide and tell me if im foolish/ plauged with this preschoolish attitude/ not intending to be rude but thats just the way i talk/ just like a dogs bark its hard to change the way it sounds/ unless its written down/ i seen love this morning touring the metropollitin and i finally got the wind in my stomach and the words in my throught to approach/ i spoke "my dear my dear my dear you do not know me but i know you very well so let me tell you bout these feelings i have for you and i try to make some sort of attempt i semp dam i wish i wasnt such a wimp cause then i would let you know that i love you so and if i was ya man then i would be true the only lying i would do is in the bed with you" she said thats cute but...................i gotta man
