The definition of persistence, plays on most innocent.
Corruption festers all around. Yet the good never makes a dent.
The crestfallen and the lost pay a severe cost.
Left for dead the depraved souls, sadly lost.
Righteous crouch of the vein. And evil, it seems
    has taken the reigns.
It is the last day of eternity.
    blast the damn infirmity.
Seek the light within life’s darkest tunnels.
Follow no one’s path’s or funnels.
As your belly begins to rumble.
    fumble for your keys.
    take on this disease.
T’is the last day for eternity

August 4 is my birthday! And if its the last day for eternity, lets party hard!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
