    So sweet and innocent
    not asking of the world
    Your world is so hostile,
you still coo, smile and laugh through it all.
You brighten up the dimmest hour, even though you cry to eat, cry of tiredness, cry to be held, cry to sleep,
I'm still there to guide you, protect you, to love and cherish every little thing about you.
I want to give you the world, anything you want; yet the only things you require is to be loved, nurtured and cared for.
You make me your world-depending on me for every thing-soon that will pass- and I will miss those times we once shared.
Your face is so beautiful and serene,
I do not want the world to take you for granted.
Your hands so small-yet just have begun to explore how they work.
You amaze me at what new things you do every day.
"Sugarbear-Sweetpea" is what I call you; your smile goes across your face brings joy to my eyes.
So small, yet so big in many ways.
I love you so much, and one day I hope you will feel what I do for you, when you become a mother.

    Love,
    Mom

very soft and flowing, this poem is excellent in my opinion. you cast a great reflection of your soul through your words.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
