    Another Little Mystery

Where I got the nerve to ask you is any-body's guess
Don't know what you saw in me but you took my ring and you said yes
Couldn't help but wonder when you gave me your hand
What I did to win your love, I'll never understand
    It's another little mystery
    Between you and me
    I don't need a reason why
When I look into your eyes
I see all Heaven's given me
    It's beyond belief
How a man could be so blessed
    Is another little mystery
We plan to start a family in a couple years or so
But an unexpected miracle already is beginning to show
I put my ear to you, to hear a tiny beating heart
I try to tell you all it means to me
But I don't know where to start
Was it fate or coincidence that brought your love to me
No use trying to make sense of it, it's always gonna be
    Another little mystery

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
