    Angel

    Recently in my life
I've dealt with much misery and strife
    All of this pain
Poured out on me like rain
    I felt so lost
    And wondered the cost
To have an angel come to me
And show me how to be free

    I never expected to see
That the angel was right in front of me
All this pain all these days
And now you've come to show me the way

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
