    Adrift

    I wonder at my purpose
or more like the lack there of
and though i've laughed and cried
    lived and died
and a time or two fell in love
    i find myself still lost
    and roaming without a will
wherever i go, whatever i do
I've but endless time to kill

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
