If there ever was a place in life where I need to be,
It’s next to you from dusk to dawn; because your love I need
From birth to now I can’t compare anything so fine
All I ask is to know how forever feels with you someday

Our special dates, the time we take just for us alone
The river walks, the hunting camp and long talks on the phone
The day you fell into the lake, it took my breath away

Our bubble baths by candlelight, the backrubs in the tub
It wasn’t long before I knew, we were falling in love
You took me into your heart and excepted who I am
When ever I was confused, you helped me understand
As a child I would pray,  send someone just for me
For if this wish was granted, my life would be complete
See, it’s kind of simple, when you ask of the Divine
Believe in what your asking,  then wait upon a sign
For one day you will awaken,  surprised on what you find
