In the darkness I hear a voice
It calls to me, beckons me forth
I see the past etched in stone
The hurt I felt, and the remorse I carry return
In the night I hear a voice
A figure in the dark beckons me forth
I see us now, as we are
The happiness I felt warms my soul
As the moon rises I hear a voice
A figure standing with open arms
A voice beckons me forth
In the moon light I see our future
Waiting to be fulfilled
