    a secret hell

a little girl should never know
the pain and sorrow that would grow
inside her fragile heart and mind
but it happens all the time
when shes put in a situation
    by her brothers molestation
    at first she doesn't realize
this kind of love is only lies
    that can hurt her easily
    both physically and mentally
so she doesn't say a word
and lets him do his very worst
    praying that tonight it's over
    ending her nightmare and torture
the hellish nights are now much longer
    as her brothers getting stronger
    and she's only getting weaker
with every minute that he keeps her
scared to death never to tell
about this secret life of hell

I've never had to go through this with one of my daughters, thank God, but this is so true in our world of filth.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
