    A Quiet Death

It's such a shame to trade a moment of pleasure for a life time of pain. But it seems as though he is reluctant to get it through his head. Through the love you had for a man that you thought was real,so you finally gave unto him to show him how you really felt. Now your crying every night, one could not explain the pain you have encountered. As you glance in the mirror, before you there is an empty reflection, pondering in the fact that you should have used protection. Now you are dying, before you had a chance to live your life. Dying to be his girl. Dying to be his wife. It's crazy what life would yake you through. It's funny what being in love would make you do. Simply by contracting a disease from a man that you were faithful to. But he probably didn't feel the same way for you. All he gave you was lonely nights. A nd a disease that quickly claimed your life. Now your dying a quiet death

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
