    A Poet's Song

My passion is writting I think about it all day long. The experiences I go through what better way to express them than in words. It's a feeling I can't get over or even ignore. It's like a love song replaying in my head over and over again. Writting is my one true love some may think that's sad to say. I know it can not hurt me or tell me no lies. My writting will not cheat on me or break my heart as men sometimes do. A poet is what I am and a writer which none can compare.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
