     A NEW DAY
    WOKE UP FEELING A NEW WAY
    PRAYED TO GOD LAST NIGHT TO SHOW ME A  BETTER WAY
    GRANDMA TLDME TO BE PATION CAUSE THERE WILL BE BRIGHTER
    DAYS
    JUST BE FAITHFUL
    GOTTA BE GREATFUL
    NEVER KNOW WHEN DEATH IS GONNA TAKE YOU
    BUT DEATH COME IN THREES
    WHERE I COME FROM DEATH IS THE POLICE
    MIGHT EVEN BE ONE OF YOUR HOMIES
    BUT WHEN YOU KEEP YOUR HEAD TO THE SKY
    LIKE A BIRD YOU GOING O FLY
    BUT I STILL ASK WHY
    WHY THE GOTTA LIE
    TOLD ME ME THERE WILL BE BETTER DAY"S
    BUT AT WAS JUST A DAY
    BUT YOU KNOW WHAT
    TODAY'SANEW DAY
    YEA

    Hope springs eternal even in the face of such dissappointing odds. I like that even though you know it will probably be just another day, you stay positive. Nice read.
