    A little girl

There was a girl who had a curl
    Her name was pearl
    She was very nice
She ate cookies with sugar and spice.
The girl named pearl played with her dog mitzi
Pearl tried to teach her tricks but she was very ditzi.
    They played at the park
    then it became very dark
So Pearl and Mitzi went home to sleep
And dreamt they were riding on a jeep.
Mitzi awoke with a start but was happy to see Pearl
    the girl with a curl.

This is very well written, comes together very well. You did a very good job on this.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
