A Father & Daughters Journey

I was a little girl, broken
I cried by hurting others, self pity, being rebellious & disrespectful
I felt justified in everything I did
I had a right to be angry
I had the right to do things on my own
I couldn't trust anyone else
Everyone who told me, that they were there for me wasn't;
It was all for self
Satan wanted me to kill myself,
People told me I was crazy
I thought I was crazy & a tough tony
God said “I knew you before you were formed within your mother's womb; before you were born born I sanctified you & appointed you as a spokesman to the world.”
All those times you wanted to kill yourself I'm the one who said
“Be delivered & you shall live & not die.
When you were being tormented in your mind
I'm the one who said “Peace be steal, because I have given you a sound & stable mind
When you were trying to get yourself locked up
I'm the one who said “ Who the son set free is free indeed
When you wanted to continue to be disobedient
I'm the one who taught you, that obedience is better than sacrifice
All those times you wanted to give up, because life had beaten on you
I told you “ My rod & my staff shall comfort you
When your addictions try to control you
I'm the one who told you
“Those who let themselves be controlled by their lower natures live only to please themselves, But those who follow after the Holy Spirit find themselves doing those thins that please God.”
When your having a hard time parenting
I'm the one who told you
“ For your creator will be your “HUSBAND” The Lord of host is my name, I am your redeemer, the Holy one of Israel, The God of all thee earth.”
When your hustling, stealing, working, & saving can't supply all your needs
I told you “ I will never leave you nor forsake you & I will supply all your needs.
My question to you daughter is this
Since you were born, I have wiped your tears, saved you from death, kept my promises, stayed faithful even when you weren't faithful & showed you unconditional love,
So after all these years of faithfulness to you
When are you going to let me lead & you follow?
When are you going to faithful? When are you going to stop telling me yes & no at the same time?
I created you for me

Okay Lord I told you yes & all hell broke loose in my life
I lost my house, I almost got locked up a couple of times
I felt that what I needed you weren't given it to me fast enough,
satan beat you to it.
Now daddy everything your saying to me is true
you kept me from killing myself, you kept me from going coo coo
for cocoa puffs, you have set me free from a many of things & you kept me encourage
My question to you is why was it & is it so hard?
God said “Daughter my burdens are light & my yoke is easy
cast all your cares on me for I careth for you.
I'm telling you like I told Moses Arise & lead the people to the land I promised their fathers, It is time to go in & posses it.
When you stop telling me yes & no
You will understand fully my joy, my peace, my wisdom & some of my ways
If I would have made things easy for you
then what would your testimony be
How could you tell someone else of my goodness, my mercy, me being your provider, your mind regulator, your peace keeper, your best friend & the list goes on & on
When you give me a complete yes I will give you peace in the mist of the storm
I did if before go & read Noah I destroyed the world & kept him, his family & the animals alive, so you think I can't give you peace when you tell me YES!
When you surrender it all to me
You don't think when all hell breaks loose I'm still there,
You don't think when all hell breaks loose you can have joy
you don't think when all hell breaks loose I can bring you out
Daughter all hell breaks loose, because that means
you and satan aren't on the same team,
But that's only when you have told me yes
you mustn't forget when all hell breaks loose
you have learned something new about me
I don't prove myself to anyone I am who I am
who is God!
So daughter my question still remains the same
what is it going to be?
God I tell you yes, not no
but YES! Yes to your will, Yes to your way, Yes to your peace, yes to your joy, yes to your love, yes to your wisdom, yes to your understanding, yest to your healing, yes to your delivering, yes to you setting the captives free
