    • I have some poems that I wrote a long time ago, and, since ince I don't seem to get any time to finish the several I've started recently, I've decided to go ahead and put some of these on. At least It gives you something to look at. The ones I'm going to put on come from all stages in my life and from a number of situations. I'll try to explain a little as I go along. Oh, they won't be in chronological order.

    A Bended Knee

    There's something about a bended knee
    From which a man does pray
    That glorifies the Father
    In a very special way.

    There's something about a bended knee
    That says to God above,
    "I am humble in my heart,
    And earnest in my love."

    There's something about a bended knee,
    Which God cannot ignor.
    He heals the heart and speaks to it,
    Then opens up the doors.

    "Sinner, come on bended knee;
    Give yourself, My son, to Me.
    I will take that heavy load.
    I will make you whole."

    Loved the apparent worship and praise in this wonderful write sir , thank you very much.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
