2 towers
as they stand so still
a shimmer in the sky
draws us in so closely
we see a plane pass by
all start to run
but ther is no where left to hide
the plane is closing in
people pick up their stride
the first plane hits
the towers start to tremble
they second doesn't help
they both disassemble
as they both come down
we here so many screams
everyones in shock
the tears come in streams
a blanket of smoke
covers up the rubble
god doesn't want us to see
so he puts it in a bubble
as the smoke clears
the brave fireman rush
not knowing what to expect
everythings so hush
as the search begins
the word is spread
of those less fortunate
who may be dead
people start to wonder
if their loved ones are coming back
and many are frustrated
at this terrorist attack
but we live in America
and all of us are free
the towers are still standing
just not physically
in our hearts
they'll always be
the brave men and women
who risked their life for me!
a shimmer in the sky
draws us in so closely
we see a plane pass by
all start to run
but ther is no where left to hide
the plane is closing in
people pick up their stride
the first plane hits
the towers start to tremble
they second doesn't help
they both disassemble
as they both come down
we here so many screams
everyones in shock
the tears come in streams
a blanket of smoke
covers up the rubble
god doesn't want us to see
so he puts it in a bubble
as the smoke clears
the brave fireman rush
not knowing what to expect
everythings so hush
as the search begins
the word is spread
of those less fortunate
who may be dead
people start to wonder
if their loved ones are coming back
and many are frustrated
at this terrorist attack
but we live in America
and all of us are free
the towers are still standing
just not physically

they'll always be
the brave men and women
who risked their life for me!
