Being real is much deeper than just playing the part,
Are you truly displaying the authenticity of your mind, soul, and heart?
But if I say I’m this, I can’t do that;
So if I do, am I still what I say I am?
Who’s to say yes or no?
For no human on earth has the judgment to call it so.
We get so caught up in carrying out the roles, upholding an image for everyone to see,
Now is that being real?
My God is realer than real, and is the only One Who knows how and who we’re to be.
Are we sure that we’re really real, representing Truth?
If you ask me, it’s only been a bare few—The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost – not me or you.
Was never said that it was going to be easy,
At times it feels like hypocrisy, if you deny that you’re lying to yourself – believe me.
Realness is alive, active, an authentic act of perfection,
So, what exactly is being revealed in your reflection?
