Your Love, a gift from above

There we're laying on our bed
Asking apologies of each other's imperfection
    I'll see myself humbled
For I know there's nothing to boast in me.

    There you are responding,
Your love aside from God's love
I could only boast in this world.
    Thank you love, thank you.

You told me of God's leading in your life,
I know and I believe He blessed you so,
For you are a man with a heart,
A heart so BIG to LOVE.

You're family and friends are blessed
    For they can trust you.
I have only a small family
But with you I have a family so big.

Your love makes me understand myself,
Your love gave light to me,
Your love can even fix me,
For you came as a gift from above.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
