    Your Cries

Sad one, I hear you. I hear your cries. Your sorrow seems to well up inside, your mind is drowning. You want to be heard but not made to feel inadequate. You want to be understood but not overly. You look for a reason for tomorrow, a reason for no more tomorrows. The pass a blur, now seems forever. Your heart beats way to fast, you feel empty. Slow in body. Your eyes are red and swollen from the tears not able to keep from flowing. Your missing parts, not sure what parts, just missing things. I hear You, I hear You. You want to close your mind,to stop the picture, to cry help, but do not want all kinds of help just help.Without trying to explain. A touch a hand a smile. Trueness of oneself. Not giving all to nothing, not feeling better because other people are hurting too. Sad because people are like you! And Need. I Hear You!! Sadly, another one.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
