you look but see me!
you look but see me!
it is your wedding or my funeral,
no, no it is not your wedding but my funeral.
i have nothing to gift you than this mirror,
haven’t you anything to gift me than this error?
it is not a mirror to look your face,
it’s a glass through which you see my face.
it doesn’t show how you are,
it shows how we were.
it is not a mirror to look your figure,
it’s a picture to show my tear.
it doesn’t reflect your image,
it reflects our age.
it is not a mirror to look your face,
it’s a way to remember our pace.
it doesn’t disclose your craze,
it discloses our praise.
it is not a mirror to look your appearance,
it’s a means to keep the memory of my existence.
it doesn’t say who you are,
it says who we were.
