You Don't Know Them

To those you look upon,
to those you  see,
do you know them,
do you know me,
do you know my name,
or who i may be,
or do you just know,
from what you see,
what about thier names,
or what thier like,
do you know what they think,
just from your sight,
you think you can read them,
just like a book,
you think you know them,
with just one look,
what about thier secrets,
or thier whole story,
where they came from,
or thier journey,
what if they wear a mask,
or if they're fake,
do you have any clue,
what they've had to take,
you have no right,
to say anything,
you don't know them,
so stop your gossipping.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
