    Wishful Dreams

Trying to straighten out my life, get it together and do things right.
Starting over with school again; I stuck out until the end.
With GED now in my hand, I want to learn everything I can.
Learning computers was my next move, It was a very sad day when I was told this class is through!
Because my life is nit my own; I'll have to finish this when I get home.
Many lives got changed that day; When someone in ATHURITITY! got his way.
Wishing and hoping GOD hears my prayers; To send us a teacher to let us know that they care.
To all the world I'd like to share;GOD sent us a angel her wisdom she shared.
MRS. E was there for everything; So many good things to my life is what she did bring!
Her fight for us is not in vain, Self-Esteem we all have gained.
For this person I'll continue to pray; Hopefully his heart will change one day!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
