    • Just completed my new collection of poems, "Time Machine", a collections of Rock Ballads to set your own music to.

    wings within wheels

all the demons, all the doubt
    all the angels flying south
    transporting light to you
    on wings within wheels
    of overnight jazz

    the eyes have it
    even through the fog
    seeing all the dreams
    even the one
    once thought lost

    wings within wheels
and all the jazz about love
    ladders and doors
    and the angels
    moving up and down

Marx, I love the way the angels and jazz are incorporated here. I happen to love angels and feel their presence every day. ginga

hey ginga! yeah, during this period, i found a deep connection between jazz and angels.....i think one of the earliest connections of this, during this time, was in the poem "jazz 8"....we are all jazz angels. smile.

Hello there! Found an overlooked gem here this am! This brought to mind a picture I had seen once of Angels ascending and descending through clouds on a huge staircase...Of course there was Jazz in the background playing softly!;)

Hey...I am well thanks, been getting ready for a Jazz Fest in our area!...Hope that things are well with you!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
