    Willow

In the willow the doves cry
    Angels wonder why

The world passes byStill winds, gentle rain
Daylight will never be the same
    Darkness comes with the rain

    Sunlight cannot heal the pain
    Time passes, the grass grows

Still the tears of sadness flows
From the eyes that need her the most
    Flowers bloom the dew stays

The longing will never go away
Missing the hand that wiped the tears

And calmed all the childhood fears
    With angels wings love brings

    A peace that heals everything

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
