WHY THIS JIGGERY-POKERY?
Chain collision of our lips, jaggery
Sliding of your hand on my skin, allegory
I have been to the enticing paradise of your grapery;
sky-high on a cloud of roses with no knavery
I dream of the sweetest pain in our sanctuary,
and the cutest baby from our sensual loganberry
The love you’ve brought out in me, my fiduciary,
will always shine brighter then the brightest luminary
But why are you building between us this rectory?
Something bothering, my handsome statuary?
Please tell me, and make me your sharing manufactory
Love being with you, even in the piggery;
take me along, all the way through peppery periphery
Aren’t picking up my calls since January;
even my mobile got bored in this quandary;
always have some excuse, “was in the lavatory”
I’ve thought of going my own gallery,
but my love for you pulls me away to your granary
Am I less important then your friends, study and pageantry?
Unreplied messages, you send me to Coventry
And suddenly this message like a zooming lorry,
“Sweetheart, please forgive me for all my deeds, sorry!”
Why this puppetry?
If you don’t want me in your depository,
I’ll step aside to the parquetry;
please, don’t make me feel nugatory.
