Why Leave Me Here To Die

The day you said good bye,
I felt something in me die,
I don't want you to see me cry,
Why leave me here to die?

    You walked away
    I knew without a dout
    You weren't turning back,
    I had lost you

    When you left
I knew I would regret that day,
But I was to scared to say,
    'please don't go away'

    Now I stand here
    cold, friendless, and without love
One day I will see you again
If it be the will of the one above

A poem should roll of the lips, but this seens a little disjointed lacks rhmye in places , but still a good effort

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
