Who would have been better

Then Gods only Son

To claim all our Sins

He is the one

Who would have been better

Could it have been me or you

Would we have gone through it

Could we have made it through

He does it – Again time after time

Every time we slip or we fall

Could we have done better

To claim the sins of us all

He knows our every step, every slip Foot or tongue

Every stone  his children threw,

To keep him from reaching, his fathers thrown

They kicked they spit they never stopped the whip

He even crawled part of the way

Could we have done better

Could we do better  to honor that day

Would we do better Each and every day

He is asking today

Someone Say the name

Jesus

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
