Where I keep my dreams

Where I keep my dreams

WHERE I KEEP MY DREAMS

They come from the heart and mind,
and settle in little cubicles
scattered throughout my brain
awaiting for the impulse.

The serotonin kicks the cells
and the synapse jumping time,
to release modules of energy
for the dreams of my mind.

The dreams percolate around
looking for a place of release,
perhaps to the eye or hand
to manipulate ex. Libris.

My dreams find themselves landing
own tablets in a jumbled scene,
scrawled with a blunt pencil
jumps alive on the computer screen
.

I am glad for my poem rating----keeps my ego in check. I have about 112 more written several years ago. Maybe I should submit more. Whadda you think or just steal slightly away?

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
