WHEN YOU SMILE
When you smile I can see
That there are still feelings left with in me
For years I lived denying a feeling
And refusing any sense of healing
At times I found myself longing for a simple touch
But soon the last hurt comes in so much
As now I gaze upon a delicate face
I ponder ways to achieve your grace
I would love to touch your hand
And pull you close, oh how grand
To feel your lips against mine in a kiss
I wonder if this could cause me great bliss
When you smile I can see
There is still a feeling within me.
That there are still feelings left with in me
For years I lived denying a feeling
And refusing any sense of healing
At times I found myself longing for a simple touch
But soon the last hurt comes in so much
As now I gaze upon a delicate face
I ponder ways to achieve your grace
I would love to touch your hand
And pull you close, oh how grand
To feel your lips against mine in a kiss
I wonder if this could cause me great bliss
When you smile I can see
There is still a feeling within me.
