What have you done lately

What have you done lately for me baby
Becoming so involved
You don't see the change in me
There is so much you don't give me credit for
Things I have in store that you seek for
But the pleasures in your life have weighed you down
Thinking I would always be around
But times have changed, and so have I
So now is the time to say goodbye
To the baby boy who hides inside

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
