    Welcome!

    My shell tingles a bit
    What a lovely new place...
I hum with anticipation about this new space...
And so without coercion I will engrave into the stone
This short and preferably simple little song
It is my nature to shy from the light
Not because it harms me but because I love the night
I love to move silently when none other can see
Except the spirit of He who lives eternally
So into the wind I'll gleefully sing
In hopes that to my door it's melody will bring
    More poets and more writers
    More friends with more pens
And most of all a place for me to feel lyrically safe
    From beginning to end

-Dedicated to all the people I hope to meet from Original Poetry-

Nice poem. I'm sure you're about to meet a lot of new people. TS

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
